If I may suggest upgrading to an 87 turbo/intercooler setup.

Enjoy the engineering!
End result should be a great challenge.
What platform will it reside?

In a lil '86 firebird? Muahaha.. noone's gonna see that coming

I'm with the TTA guys on upgrading to the 87 turbo/intercooler, especially if you're getting a new turbo anyway. Also, what are you doing about the heads? I recall hearing of issues with fitting the stock GN 3.8 in a camaro engine bay, the '89 TTAs used LeSabre heads to compensate for some clearance in some department, but I think this was just for accessory clearance (A/C primarily, as I recall)

Sweet you traded
a Buick 350 for a Buick 350 [ missing two cylinders]

They just canceled the 350 pistons and just when we were gonna get aluminum heads this year but thank g0d they still make a wide variety of piston for the GN

If a Buick 350 missing two cylinders can be so freaking fast, why can't they make a regular 350 even faster???

I guess it a matter of time tuning and parts but maybe less is better???

Could 6 cylinders really be better than 8?

When you talk Buick GN motors, its sure rings true.

To make a Buick 350 really fast,
Start with a 1970 Buick GSX 455 Stage 2 engine!
That'll help the cause!
BIG Block Buicks are torque monsters!
