Strange loud noise
My 82 camaro v6 3 speed automatic has a loud noise. If i rev it, it has a knocking noise coming from the bottom end. It doesn't seem to be as loud when I put it in gear or at idle. Could it be a loose flexplate or torque converter. Hopefully it isn't the motor.

Could be a cracked flexplate.. but how would a 2.8 crack it? 
Seriously, could just be a loose convertor bolt. Start looking, before you DO blow something up!
