Need advice on power window problem

I was coming home today and the passenger side window did'nt work. The left side seems to come down ok.I don't think it would be the fuse since the left side is working.I'm thinking it might be the power window motor has gone out.I can hear the clicking of the contacts or actuator as I press the passenger side button located in the center console. What do you guys think?

possibly could be your switch, if you can hear the actuator starting or engaging but the window isn't moving at all, there's a chance that the switch isn't making a good connection. Cheap check, pop the switch out, take the hot wire, and bridge the gab between the ground wire w/ a paperclip, (it'll spark , so don't get scared) if the window moves some, then you know that your switch is bad, so go ot the yards and see what you can find, or replace it w/ aftermarket or GM parts if ya feel like spending the $$. If that's not your problem, itd most likely be your motor, but, that'd be the cheapest test i can think of.

Or if you don't feel like using paper clips (dont' worry though I had to use paper clips for ~2 months on my convertible) then just use your other switch.

Ohh what a relief it is.......it seems it was the switch had went bad.So I decided to make a junkyard run to get one and some other goodies while I was out and about.Luckily, it was'nt the motor...but hey, the thing is 13 years old.It would'nt have surprised me if it was the motor. Thanks for the help guys.
