Hi Jay

Hi Jay,

I'm pretty new here too being one of the few F-body owners here in the U.K. I'd leave the V6 as it is if you want good gas mileage, but I'm sure someone here will be able to help if your really sure you want to go the performance way. Mines a 3.1 and it scares the hell outta me sometimes if I put my foot down a bit, but what the hell I'm no speed freek!

Welcome to the group.

Speed.

Before someone else posts and screams "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON," I will say a few things.

1. The famous TomP tuneup is a good place to start: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=162251

2. K&N air filter.

3. A good catback system.

4. Pacesetter headers (when they are available).

5. Pulleys.

6. Lower temp thermostat and fan-on switch.

7. A Doward/Vortex turbo kit (release date not available).

These are just a few ideas of many. In the top right corner of the screen is a search button. Use that and search the V6 forum for mods.

Good luck and welcome to the boards,

Jason

I tried. The concept was shut down due to lack of participation, feedback, and gripes.
