problems installing tci boost valve!
problems installing tci boost valve!
ko guys as you know im in the middle of replacing my trany in my 87 bird. ive got the s10 trany out on the engine stand now and i pulled the pan to replace the filter. everything there is ok. i got a new TCI .500 boost valve for it. i removed the snap ring and the old boost valve poped right out. now im having problems putting the new tci back in. for some reason i cannot get the new one to go back down in as far as the old one was. why is that? there are 2 grooves down in the hole for a snap ring. the old boost valve was held down by the secong hole. the new one wont go any farther than the first snap ring groove. please help!

I'd like to here this also as I have a boost valve laying here on the desk, waiting a transgo shift kit someday when I win the lotto
