What plugs and wires?

For my 85 V6 I need new plugs and wires because all the old ones got burned up in a shop fire along with the hole harnes and ignition.
So far I built a distributor form a peace of crap I got off ebay for $9.
I tosed the cap, rotor, pick up coil, ICM and cleaned a ton of $hit out of it.
I rebuilt it with an holley ICM, some cap and rotor kit I got form summit, a Blaster SS ignition coil, I need to get a pick up coil from napaonline.com and plugs and wires.
So I have a 3.4L with a crane 272 cam (big cam but not real big) plus all the stuff on my web site but the turbo.
What plugs and wires should I get?

for plugs go with the bosche platinum 4's cant go wrong there. with wires i have nevr really noticed too much difference between brands. pretty much thicker wires better performance. some nice 8.8mm will do you juss fine.

You're prepping for a turbo setup and I'd guess you're likely to be adding a much hotter secondary ignition as a result.. platnum is out (the coatings can melt off) (edit, just saw the blaster SS coil.. DEFINITELY no platinum). AC Delco Rapidfires.. or just about any other normal plug. I personally run 99cent Bosch Supers... just don't use Champion (not that I've got anything against them.. they just pop into my mind as primarily for lawn equipment).

Wires, I wouldn't spend too much on until the turbo setup is done and you know your clearances, however, accel 8.8mm 300+ is obscenely heat resistant.. good stuff. Use a universal kit so you can cut them to fit, and you get 2 spare wires 'just in case'...

The wires will have to be as heat proof as posible.
I was also going to have a MSD 6BTM when the turbos go on, or I might just get a 6AL now and hook a boost ignition retard to it later.

have you priced some of the braided plug wires yet they are good. i ran a set on my 84 z28 with a 350 and headers never had one melt on me or misfire at all but i payed over 50 bucks for em from summit but i looked at it as money well spent i wasnt replacing burnt wires all the time ...
