car sounds like plane

well now that i riped off my hood insulator i have noticed that my car sounds like an airplane!, is it normal for me to hear some wind noise under the hood, it only happens when i push the gas, is this normal or is just a leak? i remember my cousins camaro sounding like this, im thinking its normal..am i wrong

could u give a better discription, like describing the sound and not using "like an airplane" cause that makes me think, 747, 767, C172? Hissing can be a vacuum leak, tapping can be an exhaust leak, how's the car performing?

sorry if im not describing it correctly. it sounds like a high hissing sound when i rev up, would a sound clip be better?

Ported vac leak, alternator whine, or you're hearing the air going past your throttle blade. Try to discern whether the sound is related to engine rpm or throttle position.

Did you put a cold-air intake on? You might just be hearing the filter, that's all.

Transmission: DYT700R4 custom inerts and conv.
The MPFI V6's make a loud "whistle" draw through the throttlebody with the stock air snorkels off of them. That is normal.

i think its more throttle related, only happens when i rev her up, i think it could be the air passing the throttle blade like you said, i have a video i just need someone to upload it unless you want me to send it to you guys,
