id say pull the injectors and have them cleaned professionally, replace the fuel filter, clean the intake/ combustion chamber out really good w/ some GM top end cleaner and brake cleaner. take the TB off and clean it out really well too.
you could go as far as to take the intake off and clean all of it out w/ brake or carb cleaner too. the only way to get everything COMPLETELY cleaned off is to disassemble and clean. there is nothing that will get 100k+ of carbon build up off those valves other than a wire wheel. depends on how thorough you want to be.
best route would be some brake or carb cleaner to the throttle body and down the intake manifold a bit. new fuel filter, some fuel system cleaner (some may object to that stuff though). and the GM top end cleaner. thats your easiest route IMO.

Yes I have but I took my old 2.8 heads and ebay'ed the hole intake and fuel system together sence I have been over here in japan, it is safe to say it is cleaner than when it orginaly left the factory.
I have picks on my car domain site of most of the work done so far but I have a hole lot more to add here in the next few days.

Yes, I removed my fuel lines from the car and ran weed eater line through each one and used it to pull .020" safety wire back through them. I then attached a piece of scotch brite at one point in the wire and a gun cleaning patch in another. Sprayed carb cleaner in the line and soaked the patch and scotch brite with it and pulled the wire through the line. Did this twice with each line. Amazing the stuff that builds up in these lines.
