Weight/Towing Question.

I'm going to start renting a 12x40 storage garage to put my Camaro in to work on, and keep it out of the weather. Currently it has absolutely no interior in it. Before it heads out to the storage garage, I plan to pull the 2.8/700r4, and take the exhaust/driveshaft out. With all that removed what do you think the Camaro weighs? The reason I ask is that I have a '95 S10 4.3 5 speed that I am using to pull the Camaro with, and I dont want to destroy the truck as I will need it to pull the Camaro to the bodyshop and back to storage. I'm estimating the Camaro should weigh a little less than 2000 lbs?

Anyways, by next summer I hope to have the Camaro out back on the streets. (It's getting almost all new sheetmetal, and a new drivetrain.)

Aslong as you dont pull it on a full tandom axle trailer, use one of the little u-haul dollys, it should be fine.

Also, if your just taking it around town, you should be ok. Just dont drive rush hour, take it slow, pump the breaks, etc.

Like Dale said. Just go slow and take it easy, do it when there's less traffic and you should be fine.
