Quick Question...Need answer fast

I feel really dumb...where is the starter solenoid?...i bought a new one to replace the old one...

Engine: 3.1 V6, 400 w/3 2 bbl's
Transmission: 700-R4, TH350
On top of the starter. Its the small round canister that your wires connect to.

what kind of bit do i need to get that little scew on the side of it loose..is it 1/4in or something different... im having a hard time with this....any help would be greatly appreciated

it's probly a torx bit. any auto parts place should have them. GM went torx bolt crazy in the 80's-90's.

it looks kinda like a torx...but its the opposite...it has the star patter for the sides.not the indention star but the entire thing is a star....
