i have a 3.1 and im getting a crane powermax cam .267/.274 duration and .423/.423 lift will my car lobe (get that blom blom blom sound)?

Powermax 2030? I've read that it either is the stock 3.4L cam or really close.

No, it won't. That cam isnt the 2030 grind either. Duration overlap is what causes lope (and vaccumn loss.......), that cam doesnt have much lift or overlap. Look into the 2030, a bit better grind than that one. I run an almost identical cam to Dowards Melling MTC-5, its a Crower Baja beast PN- 03015, doesn't have much of a lope either, but sound pretty nice at idle... (when it chooses to idle anyhow). This is in a 3.4 so I dunno though. Doward ran mid 16's i think on his cam (5 spd too) I run mid 15's. Oh, and we had to change valvesprings...stupid springs..grrr.
