Fuel Injectors
Hi guys
I need some help, I just got a offer for 6x 444cc Injectors from a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R v-spec II, i haven't got any time to try them this week, and I need to answer my friend within a couple of days.
So Does they fit my Camaro 2.8i? (Looks like a "normal" injector.)
BTW, I bought the Turbochargers from the Skyline and I'm gonna make a Camaro Twin Turbo THIS winter, for sure!

Unfortunately, this isn't a skyline site, so we're not likely to know offhand if the stock nissan injectors are Peak & Hold (low impedence) or Saturated (high impedence) ... 'course, if you're goin' turbo, you're gonna have to do some interesting stuff anyway, so you could just go with a 749 which should be able to use either type.

Well I can't say I hevent learned any thing while I have been over here.
Japinese cars have there own style injector they are different mainly they are shorter and where they plug into the intake is smaller.
I all ready looked into it.
American cars have 2 commen types of multi port injectors, the old ones like where use to and the new skinny ones like on the new LS1's, euro car makes have there own types so do the japinese.
Then theres TBI injectors but who cares about them?
I don't know if the skyline injectors are low or high impedence.
Some japinese cars use our style injectors I think the mid 90's hondas did.
Well I need some more moter cycle exhaust bends so while I'm at the junk yard If I see a nother R34 or if they have an R34 engine I'll take a closer look for you.

ECU
wouldn't a ECU, be able to run both types, I'm trying to get an answer on that impedence for the Injectores anyway.
Saving up for a AEM EM15 ECU, should be able to handel it, if I'm not mistaken.
Reason why I'm not going for a larger injector, is the price for the time being, and i would probably turn up the presure on turbo's a bit to soon, with largere injectors..

AEM?!?!?!?!? ... ouch. That hurts. Back your way out of the V6 board and hit up the DIY PROM board before you continue. "749" is the common short part number for the 1227749 GM multi-bar MAP ecm used in turbocharged sunbirds, syclones, and typhoons. AEM...

AEM
I have a friend driving Supra with more than 800+ hp and using, AEM.. I'm aware that the ecu, will take very VERY long time to install, but I'm sure i will give a GREAT result, when running! And sorry I didn't know the ECM by the part no
And from what I could find, that GM ECM doesn't seem to be easy configurable, the AEM is. But I have none expirences with it. So I really don't know.
Remember AEM EM15 is made for highly tunede Turbochargede vechiels, which I expect my Camaro to become

No those pictures don't help.
These are my injectors from a buick 3.8L T-type.
I have pluged them into the fuel rail and into the intake manifold so yes they fit.
I have seen skyline injectors and they don't look like they fit.
Those injectors will suport 550 hp on a turbo engine are you sure want that much?

Tryout done
The truth, The Nissan Injector will not fit, unless I mod the part going into the fuel rail! It has no locking mechanism. which i guess as being important, so I'll have to find som 444cc or more injectors for a Chevy. Less won't do, with the twin turbos!
