CI? That's any easy conversion, I can handle that... 204 cubic inches. That 3.4 was in the fourth gen camaro '93-'95. Not sure what the engine code was. Let me check on that.
edit: That engine code was the L32 and had 160@4500 hp and 200@3500 tq stock.

3.4L converts to 207.5 cubic inches. But they just call it a 3.4. It might be more like 3343 cc. Anyways, I believe I got the 204 from http://engine.firebirdv6.com/

That's funny, because I just went to the Fel-Pro website and to the vehicle applications link and it is listed as a 201. But I'm going by the website I posted earlier.

Speaking of the 3.4, how's your swap going? Where did you get your block/parts? Did you go to Best Buy Performance or Mopac?

so do we know what size it is yet?....i was going from my desktp dyno, and that was telling me that it was a 209...but that's for the 3.4L DOHC, although i'm sure there's no difference, just a possible discrepency in the program.

and i just did the thing on the dyno crapola....get this, the engine is listed in the program as a chevy 209 3.4L DOHC , then if you click on it, it'll bring up the ci, in relation to borexstroke.....204.4 ain't that something.

It's not a V8 if it has only 6 spark plug wires + the coil wire... and if it says 2.8MPFI on the plenum (2.8L = 173 ci)... I hate dumb people like that...

The 87 carbed (4bbl guessing that's carbed, doesn't say tbi anywhere) only had 170hp and 250tq according to the tech section of this site.
On a side note after comparing more TBI to TPI numbers I've come to conclude as many have TBI sucks.
