time to get to work
time to get to work
OK so seen as how i'll once again be using my 91 as a daily driver
i need to actually start working on her i'm going to list several of the problems i'm having just for your thoughts and info
and yes before you say it i have and also will can't to use the search button
1st off it's a 91 w/118,000+ v6 with headers and dynomax exhaust everything else engine wish is all stock
2nd rough idle runs really rich
only getting about 150 miles per tank I know i know we've all talked about this before but now i'm really ready to fix her up and have access to a garage and tool to perform the necessary work
3rd she started blowing white smoke out the rear last week mixed with a little gas / rotten egg smell to boot
4th she also started stalling on me as well a total of 3 times so far with in the last week only happened when my foot is off the gas at a stop sign/light twice and the third was while switching lanes on I95 steering locked up and almost sent me into the wall Friday night
So she's off the road for now
i'me getting ready to order all the needed parts for a tune up
so please tell me anything and everything else i should look at

sounds like a shattered/plugged cat is making you stall, idle rough, smelling like eggs, and giving you crappy milage.

get the converter checked and/or replaced.
Start on tomp tuneup.
Try not to re-set the ecm unless needed.
Part of tomp is cleaning the iac and passages, also replacing the o2 sensor. Otherwise unless a sensor is bad, they dont need checked or adjusted.
