So let my car sit for 2 hours and i go 2 minutes down the road to the store.. sitting in the parking lot.. car was idling perpect around 7-800 rpm then out of no where it dropped down to 3-400 and would bounce until i turned it off... well i try and restart it and nothing.. just cranks and cranks... let sit for 5 minutes and it started up and idled fine.. but if i barely hit the gas it would bog out and hesitate.. like ill have the gas floored and the rpm would be at 400 rpm.. but once i get going after bout 3 minutes of holding the gas down it back fires and hesitates and bogs out.. anyone know whats up?

 

i'd say a clogged fuel filter might do it

 

ok ill check that too... but this mainly happens after about 45 minutes of driving.. after 45 minutes the car will fall on its face at wot.. also i can put it in nuetral and floor it but it will never redline.. just sit at or under 4k rpm
