Codes 42/43 '92 RS 3.1

I can't shake the 42/43 codes EST/ESC. I verified/adjusted the base timing to 10* and replaced the ESC sensor, no dice. Looking at my Haynes manual it refers to the ESC module located at the firewall near the brake booster. I see no such animal. I'll replace whatever components are in the ESC system. Can someone clue me in on what needs to be replaced?

The ESC module would be mounted behind the relay bracket on the driver side firewall near the power brake booster.
