Heard Back From Pacesetter

Alright, heard back from pacesetter. They have redesigned the left header, and had to redo the y-pipe also. They offered to send me new ones, but since my y-pipe is already welded as the car was my daily driver, I'm declining.

So, we need a few more to order and see how they now fit.

Wanted to keep you all up to date. Sounds like they are doing their best to make it right.

Thanks for the update! Maybe instead of getting the replacement set they offered, see if they'll send you a remote oil filter mount- that way you can run the PF52.

I'll take that free "Y" Pipe!
Tom off topic, but all I use and have used is PF52, since they discontinued the PF51. Never a clearence issue.
I can't wait to order my set of those pipes soon.
I hear it may be after this weekend....
But a few other items come first.

Oh, same here, but Dale had a problem with it (see https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...42#post2004129 ) clearing the new headers.

Now, I wonder... will places like Summit be sending back their stuff to Pacesetter for the "fixed" version? Or would Summit have both old stock and the new "fixed" stock?

I re-read the email. It sounded like they "froze" production. they said they now will be released on the 18th.

I would guess you have the old style. Might want to give them email and ask for exchange. Fred sounds like a really nice guy.
