Hey guys hope you can help me out. my gf has a 91 firebird with the 3.1. i was lookin on SLP's website for parts and figured see if they have anything for her car. they have a cold air kit for the 90-92 birds and i was woundering if anyone has bought this, will it work with either a v6 or v8? mainly a v6?

 

should work

even if it is for v8 i doubt there would be a problem hooking it up to a v6

That'll work on my car which is the same as your girls....I haven't bought it, I just took the can that's around the air filter out and bolted the filter down just open. Cheaper then that kit...

 

thats the same price as SLP and since SLP is just alittle south of me ill probably get it from them. im just tryin to get her a few extra hp were ever i can find it. im goin to get that cold air kit and then do a major tune up on it and see what works. atleast until i can find a tta or GN motor&tranny for sale.
