Hey looky whos back with a couple more questions
Hey peoples, long time no see. Just a couple questions I'd like to ask
Whats a good price to pay for a 3.1/3.4L v6 block? Just the engine and maybe the accessories. Gonna start lookin around for one just for my own reference's sake and maybe to actually use
#2. Does anyone here know how much HP and Torque the normal T5 transmission can handle? A friend of mine has a camaro book that says a T5 can handle 295 lb ft of torque. I'm thinking thats for a WC T-5 but could someone clear that up for me?
Thanks for any responses

I have the WC T-5. They are able to take the V-8 power like you listed. The regular T-5s are much weaker
, not sur eon horsepower rating however. I'm also looking into the 3.4 block like you

Not sure, but mine has withstood 334 lbs/ft of torque getting run into it!
The WC is much better than the NWC T5.
Good price to pay? I paid $75 for a 3.1 shortblock. The crank was shot in it.
I paid $200 for a 2.8 + WC T5.
3.4 complete seems to go for about $350-$500.
A 3.1? I'd say $150-200 - maybe a TAD more if you can hear it run, and it runs good!

ok cool cuz I'm thinkin because of time and money.... and a need for "more" speed..... i'll just get a good lil upgrade with another v6 block.... one that is bigger and leaks less oil lol
