New track pics of the V6

I posted some pictures my brother sent me that he took off of some 8mm video he shot of me on Calif Speedway last time we were there. This is the same track the last NASCAR race was at. We used about 5/8 of the 2 mile banked oval.

You will see a Vintage GT40 racecar (Black with yellow center stripe) that actually competed at Le Mans, France back in the late 60's that I am staying with "through" the corners but not out of the corners and down the straights. He has at least 500hp if not more. Also remeber- I am on street tires and a normal everyday street alignment (well, maybe a very aggressive normal, but it could be set up better for optimum track use). He is full race.

And thats what a V6 Camaro can do
EDIT: p.s.- You know damn well I was on the gas hard so you can tell he was trying hard also by the way he left me once he got straightened up out of turn 5, turn 9, and turn 11.

They were still shots he took off of Hi8mm video. I do not have any digital video of the car, nor do we own any digital video equipment other than a still shot digital camera. He actually tried to do a 20 sec video sequence off of the TV screen and the digital camara sped up the sequence enough for it to look hooky- it would only playback slightly FF speed, not correct speed. The double recording off of a recording just wouldn't work.

That was the first thing I called him for after he sent me these still shots through e-mail.
EDIT: I have a little digital video sequence I shot with my digital stillshot camera (it does very short video clips) of my wife pulling the Camaro into the driveway. Even that is a little hyperspeed on playback for some reason. This is nothing fancy, just shows the car rolling up and stopping. I don't know how to even load a video clip onto this sight.

I have 8mm video to play for myself. I am not going to a store though to transfer things just to play it here.

James,
Its like a cassette tape playing a song a little fast or slow. Not all players run at the same speed. So when I say speed up, its maybe at max 70-75mph instead of 60-65mph at most. The camara jumping around isn't helping, but its is fairly close to realtime speed. You can judge it better by the cars in the background, they go around that corner much slower than we did.

I had just past that Chevelle and (GrandAm?) on the small straight between turns 4&5 and you can see in that short a distance how much we left them.
