Brake light is activated by two pieces...

1. switch on the e-brake handle to tell you that the e-brake is on
2. switch on the master cylinder to tell you that you have no brake fluid pressure and you better look for a soft place to crash!

So when do you want to see the brake light?

Try unhooking the negative side of your battery for a couple minutes to clear any codes, and see if that helps.

Well I unhooked the battery cable and the same thing came up.So,I got to where the switch is at in the e-brake and cleaned all that area and checked it out.Seems to work ok now.Musta been dirt and dust built up over time. Thanks TomP.

Oh, yeah, duh, that would help, too.

Glad to help, Ken! Thanks for letting us know how you fixed it!
