Head porting question, gasket matching to intake

I know a few of you guys have ground your own; did you do any gasket matching where the head meets the intake manifold? If ya did, was there much to remove, or not much of anything?

I just basically de-burred mine. Didnt really port of polish. I found a few burs where the molds met, etc.

That's basically going to be my plan; just nix any sharp edges... then I remembered about gasket matching! Did you use stones or sandpaper rolls? I've seen a few "port/polish" kits that come with sandpaper rolls; seems like the way I'll go.

Honestly, at this moment I cant remember what I used.

it either went on my dremel, or chucked into dads air drill.

i port matched my gaskets. its not hard. i don't recall there being much material that had to be removed on the gaskets. i think i used a combo of rolls and stones.

Quality of the drill high speed tool dictates the best result with either sand paper or the metal bits.
You will be "pushing" on main drive shaft bearing so cover that one detail in drill purchase.
Truly on these heads, not much to remove at all, cause it's such a high quality head casting, compared to old small block chevy heads.
