Go to the V6 forum and get in on the group purchase for turbo kits.
Edit: Seriously...You need to read through some of the posts in the V6 forum. All the questions you have posted about have already been answered in that forum. Just trying to help you.

Why don't we just move it there instead.

theres been a few posts lately about doing this, so it shouldnt be hard to find by searching or scrolling around a lil bit. but it depends on how much you wanna spend, thats really gonna determine how much you are gonna be able to do.

3.4l is the way to go before you start putting a lot of money into your 3.1. Doing searches is your best way of finding things out as well without making everyone on here annoyed and hesitant to read the repeating posts.

You'd be better off to start with a 2.8 car if you upgrading to a 3.4, that way you notice more of a difference.
You should definitely consider how much money you want to spend and realize what the $$$-to-gain ratio is for the V6 engine. But in general terms you can do lots to beef up your engine. Basically anything you can do to a V8 engine. It just might be harder (or easier) and cost more money (or less). I'll list a few random things you can do:
TomP's tune-up (do a search, you'll find it)
catback, hi-flow cat, headers (street legal headers are here!)
cam, valves, rockers, springs, port and polish heads
port and polish intake
