Am I reading this right??? The Haynes manual says to replace after 25,000 Miles?!?!?! Are they freakin kidding??

mine had to be stock, i'd say every 100000 miles, but a new one sure does pep the motor up

But that 25,000 mile interval is total BS...Who are they trying to screw?

That's not exactly wrong.
The copywriter may have picked up previous used type & just inserted. Someone else said OK next page to proofread.
But they tend to go for about 50,000-75,000.
And it is wise to check stretch during this period, too.
IF ya ever saw a stock GM item you'd be more amazed it lasted that long LOLOL!
You should see the specs on Alfa Romero.
REBUILD CYLINDER HEAD along with......at 40,000-60,000 miles.
Fiats!
IF they lasted long enough to go down the driveway before needing repairs.....

Axle/Gears: No idea
Haynes?, Chiltons?, BAH!

My Chilton manual says how adjust valves from cylinders 1, 5 and 6, but nothing about cyl. 2, 3 and 4. These valves are auto-adjustables or what?

My V6 family car has 240.000 kms with the stock timing chain and no problem with this stuff.
