Do the rockers for the 2.8-3.4 need to be the narrow body style (as for center bolt SBC), or will the standard width work? Also, what about the rocker studs? If I understand this correctly, I could have the heads tapped for screw in SBC studs (7/16 bottom, 3/8 or 7/16 top) and use SBC rockers...correct? I know the stock rocker studs are 10mm and the LT4 style rockers will work, but with some of the other upgrades I'd like to go with stronger studs. Did a search, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks!

you will need narrow body, non-self alighning.

I had some rockers by crane I belive it was, that was metric bottom, and 3/8 top. Was not cheap.

Only two companys made them, crane and comp???

If you find a roller setup that is cheaper then the crane gold rockers, please let me know

I am planning to explore this route before long, also. I haven't started doing much research on it yet but I will be...

I've heard conflicting stories on whether you can use a full bodied roller rocker... eventually, I'll be ordering some Comp Pro Magnums (I'm not going to use aluminum in a daily driver!) and will report on my findings

I've already looked and tryed this route.

By the time you piece part it together, you could spend 30-70 more, get it as a kit with better name and less searching.

You will just have 4 more rockers laying around piece parting it together.

But they must be narrow body, they must be non-self aligning.
