Shocks, search in the suspension forum, it has been asked a few times where to get cheapest.

245/50/16 is a stock size tire which is smart move. As for grip, thats personal preference.

Subframes are a "must". But read the instructions good before installing. You cant go back and "fix it" later. Once they are on, they are on for good. Also, has the car ever been seriously wrecked? Some peoples cars who have, have had problems.

Tower brace for 16's is not what we were talking about. It is called a steering brace, or wonderbar. TDS (at top of page) sells the best bang for the buck on that item.

Solid strut mounts, wait a few weeks if you can if Dean says something new is coming out. Then get your upper strut brace.

Panhard bar, Unbalanced engineering. Better rod ends that spohn, and slightly cheaper price.

I'm gonna go the opposite way for a moment and say that I know first-hand what it feels like to be driving down the road and have the passenger's upper strut mount fail on you. Kind of a strange feeling when the front pass tire dynamically changes it's grip on the road by ~60* at a time @ 60 MPH. EEK!

With that in mind, I'm loving all this build-up of the F-body.

NOTE: This was not in the Camaro. Never, never, never...

Also, I spoke with BFG a few weeks ago and the 245/50R16 KDW is STILL not available. Grrr...I'm running KDWS, but I'd like to go with a warm-weather only version.

Re: suspension mods too improve traction

Has anyone heard of using V-8 springs and a pinion snubbed in the rear to elimate wheel hopping and pinion twisting
