cant say as ive ever heard of anyone running that here, but who knows. the most common is the dynomax catback. great price, sound, performance. unless the hooker one is cheaper, id say check summit for the dynomax catback. we use the same one as the 305s do.

I heard the hooker aerochamber sounded good on the v6. i agree with drdave that the dynomax cat-back is cheaper and performs/ sounds good.

I just scored a MagnaFlow Cat at $113 including handling.
I have a "generic" muffler at end on my 3.4. Probably a Walker.
Does the job.
Not too noisy a decent tone

I have a hooker catback, sounds nice, smooth, little loud but tolerable. People often ask me if its a v8. But I have a cam, 3" high flow cat and 3" exhaust. Sounds really nice at cruising speeds with my ram air setup. Was thinking about getting the 2.5" version, but I dont know how that sounds...so...my 2 cents

For me i dont think it would be worth it any more. I blow so much soot out my pipes i dont think it would be worth clogging it all up might pick up an aero chamber though if the price is right

hiding under a rock, too many little things and not enough money to do what i want.

crane cam, didnt do the work myself. Bought the car from a guy who bought it, was going to put a v8 in as a project car but got divorced so he didnt do any work but had all paperwork from previous guy. Met up with previous owner and varified the work done, also turns out that the guy who did the job is the same guy that does most of my non engine work when i cant do it myself, i know sounds weird, he did the cam but doesnt do my engine work, because i have a family friend that does anything engine related, so its there, plus new timing chain.

Current projects:
-abs tubing from tb to maf to ram air
-replace cat ..... hopefully
-finished porting work on tb, polishing etc.., knife-edged the butterfly wheel, may port upper plenum to tb, not sure
-flush intake system, get all the gunk out, then bolt on
-get injectors cleaned, replace fuel pressure reg
-headers, too many people have told me it would cost an arm and a leg, so can't get anyone to do the work without paying alot, a mere dream

Current setup:
-ram air from fog light area (no, no problems w/rain or snow)
-8.8mm wires
-ngk plugs
-remanned distributor
-msd 6a box
-custom chip
-high flow cat (needs to be replaced)
-hooker cat back
-shift kit w/b&m mega shifter
-wonderbar
-fiberglass hood
-more powerful alternator
-bobbling head hoola girl

So there's my life story up until now, hopefully things will be better once i go full time army and start raking in the cash, currently a student at UCONN....and i have a gf, little to spend on the car at the moment...
