Front End behavior
Hi Guys,
I wanted to ask you a way ago about this problem, but I left it on a side since there were others more important. The problem is basically in the stering system, when I turn the wheels and lock it to the left, or to the right and, at the same moment drive your car like making an U turn...I feel like the wheels change their position.... they became loosen, it is a sensation like they were bolted with only one bolt, furthermore I can notice that the car nose/hood is a little bit higher when doing this. I tried to find a basic explanation about this behavior, but the power stering case is not cracked. So, basically when you turn the wheels, their position are like this: ||------|| 90 degrees.....these ones feel like this:
\\------\\ at the moment to lock it to the left.......any comment will be appreciated! Thanks!

Road noise will be more as the rubber that is supposed to be touchign the road will be touching plus a little more of the sidewall will be as you are putting more weight on one corner.
As for the wheels, have you ever replaced your suspension? I mean some o four cars are over 20 years old, and have never been replaced. Sounds like it might be a couple of bushings shot.
Take it to your local shop and get them to check it, it would be worth your while to do all new bushings springs and struts and anythign else u can afford as they are all old and aged out.

also the little side to side bumpers on mine (i forget exactly where now but you can find them in like 2 seconds if you get down there) are worn down to what's looking pretty short compared to what it used to be.
It allows my wheels to turn slightly farther than my actual turn radius and it ALMOST feels as if it wants to push the tires forward while they're sideways. It loads the back suspension up when that happens and the nose jumps a bit.
I just know where the limit is on my car, and I don't exceed that, but I plan on doing new bumpers when I get the front end rebuild kit (hopefully next month)

A certain amount of this is normal, tires scrub when turning full lock.
Check the strut mounts, could be broken, there is rubber in there and most likely they are the original ones.
This really belongs in Suspension/Chassis.
