Can my car make the trip

I am leaveing for vegas tomorrow for my birthday. I want to take my g/f's car but it is dirty as hell i cant even see out the windows and she is saying she cant have it washed intime before we leave. If it comes down to it i am going to take my camaro.

It just had a full tune up all i need to do is put my new wires on it the old ones fryed. And i am at 240,000 miles i will be going at night but i know it is hot as hell in vegas and my AC blows my main concern is going up baker will any of this kill my engine or would it be like everyday driving to my car? Plus i know i will be sitting in traffic on the HWY 15.

lol if i took my bird i would have no money by the time i got there it only gets 4 MPG highway lol and on a 350 mile trip id be stopping every town on the way.

My camaro gets 20 mpg in city/hwy and i have gotten 30 mpg on straight highway in the past.

And now they say gas will hit 4.00 a gallon

highway driving is a ton easier on your car then city driving, i'd take your car, if it runs well i wouldn't worry about it one bit

If she doesn't have enough time to take 2min out of a 24hr day to drive through a car wash, id hate to think of what else she doesn't have time to take a few mins to wash. Eeeeewwwwwwwww

I'm sorry, lord forgive me and the little pigmies down in Africa.

Id take the aro just don't over use the AC and watch your temp n oil PSI.

Make sure and turn it off if you sit for any amount of time.

First off
Happy Birthday
Second
RENT A CAR IT'S SO SIMPLE
THREE
Duh
let's see
car washes take all of fifteen minutes
Four
Been broken down in an old car along way BACK from Vegas
Mobil Station Owner
So what ya got a Mobil card
That'll be cash for the repair or walk.....
Bolt came loose on torque convertor and made wonderful noise.
But of course I never knew that until I paid the bill & noise was gone.
The there was the hotel room that we needed to stay at due to car breaking down & it got dark...
Wash the car & have a nice time.
Don't take your Camaro you'll kill it
And yep gas at $3.25 for your Firebird & about 6-9 MPG & 18 gallon tank, equals lost wages real quick. Plus add in the repair bill for the Camaro....
Can you say traffic jams & long stretches in the hot dessert.
It's three-five hour drive, one way, into the valley of death, drove the....
Go wash the car big deal!
Believe me it'll be easier than walking!

True that and i would loose her paying for my hotel room and the 900 dollars she has saved up for me so far to paint my car. I would never cheat but there are those times i want to be single.

With a girlfriend like what ya just described, I'd try to clone her & sell her to all the guys whose girlfriends treat their boyfriends like $h1t!
Hell my Wife expects me to fork over large bills for a stupid minivan & ya seeking to throw away a girlfriend that's saved $900 toward your car to be painted.....
23.......
Was I that smart at that age......

I don't agree with KED, you car is not gonna die from a 5-6 hr trip.

Not like your driving cross country through 20 states.
Or driving a Ford.

FAST RS engine has over 200,000 non-rebuilt original miles plus has tapping lifters.
Recently was over heated a few times, tho not for prolonged periods.
Why try harder to kill a daily driver....?
