Lookin for exahust
I was looking into getting this exahust for my car. Give it a once over and tell me what you think. Will this give me a few horses?
Thanks

im eventually going to go for a flowmaster muffler for a deeper tone. the dynomax is a lot better than stock, personal preference, im ready for something w/ more "throat" to it. but i was very happy for almost 3 years w/ it.
I have had a Flowmaster80 on the V6 for years now and until recently it was very nice sounding at all levels with dual 1.75" exits.
But now since I added headers on the car the Flowmaster has become very obnoxious.
I have an e-mail out to Stainless Works about them making me a custom length "smooth tube" muffler that has a 3 1/2" overall diameter. I want them to build me one so I can install it in place of the exhuast I-pipe section that runs parallel to the driveshaft. The overall length of muffler I want from end flange to end flange will be 32" with a muffler body of 28" long.
I plan to completely remove the rear muffler routing entirely and exit the exhaust up over the rear axle as factory but then exit directly striaght out the back with a single 2 1/2" turndown. This will also reduce the weight of the heavy muffler on the back of the car giving less polar weight also for better transitional handling into and out of corners. That factory designed rear muffler exhaust is heavy back there.

I can see that alot of people have headers on their vehicles. I live in a smog tested area and I don't think it will pass inspection here but I would like to have them. Is there anyway I can do this?
Yes you can. Pacestter makes smog legal headers for '87 Camaros. I have an '87 also, I live in smog check central So Cal.
I ordered that I-pipe muffler this morning from Stainless works. Their standard ones in a 24" overall length sale for $109. The custom one I ordered theyare making in 32" long with a 2 1/2" straight through baffled core and polishing the outside body of it for $159

Do you have a part number for those headers you have on your car, also how much did it cost you? I went to pacesetters website and looked up the price but I think I was looking at the wrong ones. This i sthe part number I found #70-1206. Hope this matches up. I would like to order everything together and get it all done at the same time.
