whew! its just knocking from the torq converter

whew! its just knocking from the torq converter.,.,.,ever time i would drive thru a drive thru., like deltaco., i could hear a knocking noise., so finaly i got under the R/S and did a screw driver test to the bottom end of my 3.1 and could hear nothing., .,., So i moved towards the trans and identified the noise to be comeing from the torq converter., thank *** i thought it was coming from the the cam or lifters., so i guess some where on the converter there is a loose bolt.,., ill remove the plate covering the converter and check all the bolts,..,.,.,.,i suspect that is the problem!!

You guys dont think that the sound im hearing is the converter going bad do you??????????? i hane never had a converter go bad.,., what does one sound like if its bad or going bad? if any sound at all??

I have had the torque converter go out twice.... both times, it made no sound whatsoever.... just left a huge puddle of trans fluid on the ground. However, both of mine cracked the input shaft...
