well drove to klamath falls from portland and back last night.
12hrs of driving.

averaged 27MPG on the way down. was going alot faster on the way back. unfortunatly i do not know my mialage on way back up.

drove down following my brother in his 81 carbed toyota pickup. dropped off his truck and came right back up again. as we got into k.falls his transmission went out (a $60 piece of junk) and he only had 4th gear!!! but he managed to limp it to his house.

got a speeding ticket on the way back. marked by yellow dot on map. lazered me doing 84 in a 65. i sped up to pass a big rig and didn't slow down as quickly as johny law thought i should have. . $230. however as it is my first speeding violation i hope to get the fine reduced. also.. the Oregon State Police car that stoped me was purple.
