i would take that fuel rail (hell, i'd take all of it, im a pack rat), i think my **** is spoiled(as in ultra-minor but still present fuel leak and other wonderful things).

rest of it i would just use for ****s and giggles probably, see what i could do as far as porting or creating a UIM, etc.

junk? probably. useful? probably.

If I was building an iron head engine, I'd be all over that like a fat kid on Smartie.

Can you do me a favour? Can you measure the TB size for me? TIA.

those are the intake and fuel rail for 60* V6 engines. hey V6#21 what is the one you are showing from? is that a custom made one or a stock one? if it is stock will it fit my 2.8? and if so where can i get one? i like the idea of being able to get to the Fuel rail without having to take off the upper part of the intake

The one that v6#21 is showing is a stock 3.4L intake. Nothing special and it won't clear the distributor on 2.8/3.1L motors.

The 93-95 SFI set is a shame due to it will not work under the hood of the 3rd Gen
ANYTHING CAN BE DONE
But in end, it won't work.
Does look great.
I have a spare set also available.
I'll be unearthing it shortly.
This SFI set up is like the Fiero intake.
Because of neck of air entry and that angle, it canno work on the 3rd Gen engine bay.
The air entry measurement is identical in size to what is used from 1985-1992.
This 3.4 intake is a one piece, a slight bit shorter in height to "fit under" the deep hood slope of the 4th Gen f body.
And yes, no chance to slip in distributor using this set up.
Because the intake was designed to be a "dsitributorless" set up (as in the DIS system using balancer sensor among other specific stuff).
This is pic of the first set I sold.

well i have been looking into geting a crate 3.4 from gm and i was thinking that i should be able to swap the oil pan to make it fit but i dont like the idea of using intake parts ment for a smaller engine like the 2.8l i have now. shurely you would loose some power right?

IN THE WHOLE SCHEME OF THINGS
YOU WILL NOT LOOSE ANY POWER.
The increase in performance is breath-taking.
The MPFI set up works perfect on top of the 3.4
I know I've done it twice, over 125 people have swapped up & only one unhappy with results.
That's a 3.4 under there.
What's best is that the original stuff (my 1985 stuff) compliments the 3.4 power increase so well.
Honest not a problem at all.
You will be most happy with end results.

The DIS uses a crank mounted sensor for triggering, the balancer mounted sensor is for the SFI ECM.

Anybody have any pics of that intake on an engine in the area where the dizzy goes, and even better would be a dizzy sitting that area to show the interferance. I'm sure with some slight modifications it would/could work with a dizzy.
