The Vixen's heart is that of an F Body.

Well gang, I picked up the car last Thursday, with the new 3.4 crate engine and TKO 600 5 speed. I am hold the revs to 3000, and all I can say is wow, and wow again. I can't wait for the engine to be broken in, so I can see what the car can do. Remember it only weighs in at 1700 lbs.

Now my question, anyone with a 3.4 crate engine put in roller tipped rockers, if so what brand and the part number please.

As always thank you for the help.

Paul

Paul, there are two levels of cost and performance values to go with in roller rockers. With 1.6 rockers, Both styles you WILL need to use a set of Fiero aluminum valve covers so you have clearance. They will hit the stock covers.

You can get away with magnum rollertip 1.52 rockers on factory cam, springs, and vavle covers (I actually have these on my 2.8 currently) , Or change the appropriate parts and go magnum 1.6.

The better choice for higher revving power (especially with your low power to weight ratio) would be the Crane full roller rockers ("Gold Rockers")

I'll find you part #'s through summit and post those

Comp Cams Magnum rollertip 1.52 rockers
part # CCA-1413-12 (Summit Racing)

I do not see the Crane Golds listed through Summit any more. Here is an "expensive" link through the FieroStore showing the Gold kit with the needed rocker studs

Edit: Summit does have them

Gold 1.5's part # CRN-25750-12

Gold 1.6's part # CRN-25759-12

Thad be them. Caution though, you may need taller Fiero valve covers for them in the 1.6 ratio for clearance. They come up taller and *may* tick against the stock valvecovers.

http://www.powerandperformancenews.c...ry_Code=mgRCKR

Summit has them offered at $135.69
