Water on injectors makes them tap?

Water on injectors makes them tap?
Cleaning down my engine today and I think I might have sprayed the injectors involuntarily. Would this cause them to tap???? Really wierd.

they should tick,but a loud tap doesnt sound good.
does your engine run any diffrent?
try pulling off the fuel rails and pulling the injectors and drying them off,they might have water stuck in them or in the wiring harness and connectors.

well i just got back in from the car. runs fine now, no ticking, now I'm really confused. I just changed the injectors two weeks ago. It runs fine, no bogging, or anything. OH well, thanks for the reply wellington.
