Dale and those who did t5 swap
I am looking for some tips. I need to change my brake booster and wonder how you got the brake pedal brace off to do your swap.
There are those brace bars for the c lutch and brake but bolt bolt in way up high. Did you need to drop the column to get at thoes top bolts?

you dont need to, but it is soo much easier if you do. there is jsut a bracket under the dash that holds the steering column up, take that off and it comes right down.

The books say you can change the brake booster in 3 easy steps but fail to mention that brace bar in the way. So thought maybe I was missing a tip. Anyone doing the pedal swap had to deal with that stuff up high.

I just used a 15mm socket and extension on most. One I do know has to be baby turned with a 15mm 12pt wrench.
Their are 4 against the fire wall. 1 up top. I did not drop my column.
