For anyone intrested I have 2 4.3 blocks and one complete 4.3 minus the intake. The complete came out of a 94 bird and did smoke a lil. My email is wiggyb31@iwon.com if you are intrested and we can talk then.

I will admit my bad, the blocks didn't come from a bird but a 86 bonneville. To say there is no 4.3 engine though is wrong.
Look it up a V6 262 4.3 which was put in a 94 bird when my dad pulled it out of there and stuck in a 350. So I got the info mixed up and I apologize for that.

please stop, please.
The only "actory" 4.3 that was in an f-bod (bird at least) ws the 4.3 V8 supercarged.
http://www.firebirdgt.com/SC%20Firebirds.htm
and those links you provided only prove that the engine in my 95 BLazer exists, een though I an look at it just by popping it's hood.
Unless the 4.3 was swapped in the car, which you never state, yo really should..... stop.

OK...
I have been a Thirgen Lover for life. True Child of the 80's here.
1. 4.3 as stated above is a 90* Block and requires much much more work to swap into a Camaro/Bird when replacing a 60* block than its worth. It has been discussed many times on here... actually been beaten to death.
2. THe 2.8/3.1/3.4 is the same basic motor.
3. 4.3 has the same dimensions as the 5.7.. with 2 less cylinders
OK, Obvious stuff aside.
Except for the Turbo Trans Am. no Thirdgen F-bodies cam with a 90* V6 (This includes the 4.3) and no 4thgens V6's were either a 3.4 or a 3.8
Endo fo story.... this is fact nothgin to argue.
Now correct me here if I am wrong, but the 86 Bonny was still the RWD cars? They could have had the 4.3V6, but wouldnt they have either got a 5.0 or a 3.8?
