Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Borg Warner 3.27 gears
Problem solved!!

Basically went like this...SNIP...Disconnect....Splice...Solder...Re-connect...Cross fingers...VROOM,VROOM,VROOM!!! At least Radio Shack had hte right resistor I needed. Thanks guys for da help. TomP...I saved the article on the steering wheel removal. Gonna put in a Grant GT wheel!

Yeah..I know.LOL! A friend of mine said if anything ever happened to him, in his will I had a choice of an all digital '84 Berlinetta or a '79 Vette. Which would ya choose? I'd rather much keep my friend. They are hard to come by.

dude that sounds painfull.
hope you used good solder though myself would of just prefered to fuse it without any extra material being added
