today i was drivin my car like I normaly do foot to the floor and i decided to shift it manualy so i did and it did ok the first time and i decided to do it again but i got distracted and let the engine rev to about 6k and when i noticed that i shoved it into second real fast but forgot to let off the gas and it hit really hard and whole back end of my car jumped/lurched or whatever you call it to the side and i was just wonderin what the heck would cause that? I was thinking mabe since my Bushings are totaly worn out that mabe that would cause it? it really scared the crap out me cause it did it goin across an intersection and for a second or two i was looking out my passenger side window at a light pole and i was headed towards it. checked all the bolts and stuff down there every thing seems to be there. im lost as to what might cause this. i did not hear the tires spining and it didnt have the same loose feal it gets when it spins them. i have had it sideways going around corners and such and this was not that.

 

you would be suprised on how much these cars peel out and slide without you feeling a thing. You only notice it when it really does it.


just make sure and keep you finger off the button.
so you can't go in to reverse by accident at speed.

 

ya i found out about that one by accident but i was lucky that i was only goin about 3mph whn i put it in reverse. it killed the engine and i nearly craped myself.
