Santa brought a new Camaro

Santa (me) bought this clean 2000 Camaro 3.8 V6 for my wife to have for a daily driver. I put a K&N filter, and a Flowmaster american thunder cat-back exaust on it this morning just in time for Christmas day!

The motor. 200hp / 225 tq. Around 220hp with the exaust and k&n. Camaro Performers did this mod and got 11hp at the wheels!
Not bad for a V-6. The car also has the Zexel-Torsen LSD w/ 3.42 gears and factory performance springs.

Motor #2 Notice this car uses the same style airbox as the LS1 cars, and uses the exact same air filter. Can you say ram air kit

Congrats, but I still like 3rd gen's way more. There is something about the 4th gens that I don't like, maybe the size. I like 1st gens, not 2nd gen's or 4th gen's but there is something about 3rd gen's that make them stand out above the rest. I hope your wife enjoys her gift.

Thanks Iron Duke. I'm sure she will. Remember I drive a 3rd gen myself, The V-6 automatic is a very Lady friendly car though. My V-8 5-spd makes her nervous. (to drive I mean)

To tell you the truth I just bought an 85 iroc with a 350 5 speed and I am still quite nervous until I can get used to her. By the way a 4th gen is a perfect gift for any wife and nice ride you scored to boot. Enjoy her and I wish you and yours the best

Was the car originally a 350 or a 5-speed?

Cool, but totally non-thirdgen/non-tech.
