i was hoping to get the 3.4 and trans in the car today, but nooooo, the clutch disk i have is 1/8" in diameter to big for the pressure plate, it hits the brackets that have the bolt holes to bolt it to the flywheel, woo, so far i had to find the hard way
- need my 2.8 timing cover and water pump for v belt set up
- needed 2.8 oil pan to match timing cover
- napa auto parts sucks as muchs at getting stuff right now as it did when i worked there.
WED. the 22nd, it will be in weather permitting, ha, figures, 3 days after i fix my trans for a busted shifter fork, a rod bearing dies.

My type-up told you about the timing cover, waterpump, and oil pan.

As for the clutch disk, WTF? Did you go get a new one, or re-using your old one? What did the flywheel come off ?

Napa, as well as any parts store doesnt always have everything in stock, esp for our v6's.

Dont feel to bad, my car still isnt fixed from 11-3-05.

i read about the timing cover and water pump being reverse rotation, i didnt catch the part where the 3.4 pan didnt match the 2.8 timing cover, but i dont see how i missed it, its so obvious. and yea, a new clutch set from napa, clutch disk was too big for the pressure plate, i got a flywheel from a 3.1, the pressure plate bolted up, but yea, no go on the disk itself. and i never said napa doesnt have what i need, i know that, but when they get the parts from warehouses, its not the right stuff, or its defective.
