v6 from a FWD

im not sure if this is true but through some research it seems that if i want to put a 3.4 in place of my 2.8 im going to need to find one from a RWD car because the starter is on the wrong side.

is this true or can i use any 3.4

Not only is the starter in the wrong place you would need to make a custom motor mount for the passenger side I beleive. There is a literal boat load of information on this so do a .
