2.8 carbed choke wire -- what color (pic if possible)

Hi guys, I am almost done wiring my 1983 V6 to high output 305 V8 swap (also carbureted). The previous owner cut some wires when he converted the 2.8 to a manual non computer controlled carb a while ago, so I am unsure of whether I have found the correct wire for the choke or not. All of the wiring diagrams for the 1983 V6 I have show it should be a light blue wire. Obviously it has that weird single connector on the end that fits the L shaped tab on the carb's choke heater. I found one wire that connects to the choke with the proper connector but it is not solid light blue, it has a color and a tracer (I don't recall what colors they were). If anyone can confirm what color their 2.8 V6 choke wire is, and/or take a picture of it, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

All you need is a wire that gives out 12v when the ignition is on. I've become accustomed to getting out my multimeter and testing the voltage when I lose track of wires like that. I've lost all faith in wire diagrams over the past few years... probably goes hand in hand buying used cars.
