Valve guide seals??
Well I checked the compression on all my cylinders and they were all around 160-180.. I pulled the pugs again and one still had oil deposits.. Only other reason that I could think of would be the valve guide seals... how hard are they to replace? Thanks

They're not "hard," but there is a lot of work involved. You have to pull the valve covers, remove the rockers, either use string or compressed air and an adapter to keep the valves closed and from falling into the engine. then you have to compress the spring, pull the retainers out and then you can get to the guide seals. Installation reverse of removal.
Sounds almost like a Haynes manual, huh? lol

Should I bother replacing them or should I just wait till my engine swap? It shouldnt be more than a week before its ready.
