Are the 3.4 and 3.8 cranks different from the 3.1? Is a v6 stroker possible? Just curious...

Oi....

The 3.4 crank is the same as the 3.1.

The 3.8 is a completly different species.

Essentially the 3.1 is a "stroker" 2.8L.

You could offset grind a crank to create a longer stroke, but the 3.1/3.4 crank is already too long for a good rod ratio as is, well not too long, but I don't think I'd want any longer because then the ratio will be too low.
