Rocker Install

My 1.52 rockers came in the mail today and the instructions say you probably should get new pushrods. Thats the last thing I want to spend money on cause I am on a tight budget. Anybody ever install rockers without new push rods?? What would be the downside to it?

Ive done it w/o pushrods. You mainly need pushrods with 1.6's, not 1.52's.
