Rough Idle

alright, the moter is a 2.8l v6 (carbed), Ive just recently did a full tune up, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, Replaced all vacumlines that i can see, and yet, im still getting a rough idle, I dont have any vacume leaks under the carb or intake (did the carb cleaner trick), I do blieve that im gonna have to replace the cat, (the exaust is rattling, and everything is tight! down there!) do any of you have any suggests that i could try?

fuel filter and air filter, check the air filter up to the sun, if u can see through its good, if not replace it. replace the fuel filter if its been in the car for more than 5 thousand miles.

as wierd as it sounds mine did the same thing, but my cat was clogged, and all that pressure had to go somewhere......but when i replaced the cat or cats in my case( thanks to my ******* exhaust manifold, splits in to two seperate headers, instead of a y pipe) and my idle was perfect..... until i started messing with the timing

A simple head gasket replacement...but thnks for your iput!!
