any expearence with a 88 2.8 gasket set?
I'm ordering a head set right now for my 2.8 3.4 swap i got the exhaust manifold and oil pan gasket. I was told that they don't make complete engine gasket kits and more that i just gotta buy them seperetely. now would i have all my gaskets i neeed from those 3 sets, (ex. man.,oil pan, head set) that i will need to rebuild it.

Don't know who told you that story. I got my rebuild set from GM and it included all the gaskets for the 2.8, 3.1, and 3.4 blocks. Just had to use what I needed for my 2.8 and discarded the rest.

Yep, you can get a head gasket set, and then just the oil pan gasket + rear main seal.
I don't believe FelPro has a specific KS (engine kit) series gasket set for the 2.8...

Exhaust manifold
is the exhaust manifold the same for the 2.8 through 3.4 Crate engine. I never had a 2.8 or 3.1 I just recently bought the 3.4L Performance crate engine and just wanted to know.
Thx

if ur doing a swap then get the 2.8 ones if not just get the 3.4 ones just to make sure but i'm like 99.99% sure they would be exactly the same since the exaust manifolds themselfs are the same.
