v8 cluster panel on v6

if i install a cluster panel from v8 to my v6 3.1 camaro,
will it give out false reading or anything like that?
the max speed is both 110mph,
but I was just wondering though.

im not sure if they're in the same year, but i know its
in the same year range.

its all good though.. Im getting a v6 cluster,
even if its the same year it makes sense how tach will be off,
and i dont want that.

thanks though
