Imediate help neeeded!!
Alright heres the deal.. when rebuilding my engine I forgot to mark the dizzy.. that and I also rotated the crank.. so now I have no clue what cylinder is about to fire or anything.. Is there anyway to check or an easy way to time it with out checking each gear tooth or tearin the engine back apart??? Thanks

The most reliable way is going to be to pull the valve cover for #1 and rotate the engine until both valves are closed, then make sure the balancer lines up at 0*, then stab away. It doesn't matter which terminal you make #1 on the cap, but the normal one is the front most on the driver side of the cap.
Just make sure that when you stab it, the rotor points to a termianl, and that's your #1 cylinder.

Block the #1 spark plug hole with a shop rag or paper towel, then rotate the engine by hand till the rag is forced out by the compression, now drop in the dizzy with the rotor pointing at the #1 tower. That should get you close enough to start it and set the timing.
